Garis panduan kejambuan

This is a tribute to my brother, silent blog reader aka NSE exit 135 and a housemate for 1 1/2 month, whom we could talk the same thing every night on and on and on for 1 1/2 month. Most of the time, jambu was the center of our discussion, and sometimes it lead to harsh arguments. :-)

In the wake of the recent misconduct of a male singer while performing at a live concert organized by a private tv station, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has imposed a three-month ban on the singer from appearing live on private tv stations.

On top of the ban, MCMC has came out with a new guideline for all performing artists on code of conducts, dress code and ethics while performing in public places. Here's one of the dos and don'ts....

Back in 1993, I stopped dreaming (dream ke?) of becoming a lawyer by accepting an offer to further my studies in Economics in US, instead of accepting an offer from a local university to do Law.

This friend of mine, who had been dreaming all his life to become a doctor (all your life or just after you started learning human reproduction system in your Biology class, bro?) turned down an offer to do Engineering degree abroad, can't remember whether it was in UK or in US. Instead, he continued with his matriculation locally before somehow managed to further his studies abroad and graduated as an M.D. Now, he is a Pediatric Doctor in one of the local hospitals.

For your determination and perseverance, I salute you, bro!
