Ok sambung cerita trip ke KT. Kali ni bab mencandat sotong pulak. Only the guys yang pergi mencandat hari tu, PO, LB, Par, aku dan dua orang lagi kawan PO. Pastu ada few others dalam bot tu - tekong and the multiskilled crew lah. Multiskill sebab diorang boleh prepare bahan untuk mencandat, boleh bawak bot, boleh siang ikan, boleh masak, macam-macam lah... and it was LB's and Par's first time mencandat sotong ni, kita tengok how they handle it? Hehehe...
Seawal jam 6.30pm kitorang dah masuk perairan Pulau.. hmmm Pulau apa ek? Anyway, kitorang dah masuk kawasan mencandat lah waktu tu, dah boleh mencandat dah walaupun masih terang. Mulanya aku rasa plan diorang macam nak mancing dulu, then bila tengok ada banyak (I mean really a lot!) bot yang tengah mencandat kat satu tempat tu, sauh bot kitorang pun dilabuhkan, dan kitorang pun mencampakkan candat masing-masing ke laut... tengok gambar ni betapa ramainya bot waktu tu.
Kitorang stay at that position sampailah matahari terbenam, tapi takde seekor sotong pun dapat dinaikkan. Ternampak wajah-wajah kedukaan terpampang di muka first timer-first timer kita hehehe... ada jugak dalam hati aku yang aku rasa macam janganlah tak dapat sekor pun sotong, mana nak letak muka kat geng-geng perempuan yang tak dapat pergi mencandat, especially dengan Angah hehehe... At that point of time, tekong decided untuk alih bot ke spot lain. Sementara bot bergerak ke tempat lain, lihatlah gambar time nak sunset ni...
Lepas maghrib tu aku pun masuk kabin, tidur. Bukannya mabuk tapi mengantuk sangat sebab malam sebelum tu tak cukup tidur dalam bas sebab grup Singapore bedebah yang memekak tu. Anyway, lepas aku terjaga dari tidur tu, lebih kurang jam 8.15pm macam tu, bot kitorang dah beralih tempat, hari pun dah gelap. Aku tengok diorang dah mula mencandat.
Panas jugak laa hati aku waktu tu. Waktu PO tengah solat, aku main-main candat dia. Then, terasa berat wo! Aku pun tarik... perghhh!!! Naik first sotong lebih kurang jam 8.30pm.
Habis aku twit first sotong tu, Shahrom kawan PO naikkan pulak sotong ke 2,3,4 serentak! Tiga serangkai ataupun aku panggil 'threesome'. Baru nak twit yang tu, naik pulak nombor 4, aku tak sure siapa naikkan. Then aku dah haru biru, mana nak twit, mana nak amik gambar, mana nak mencandat. Nasiblah kan, yang aku tau delinn, Arc dengan Sempoii tengah dinner kat darat time tu sure bersorak everytime dapat twit sotong naik. Ekekekek...
Sotong baru balik mengaji kot time tu lalu bawah bot kitorang. Semangat rush hour tu cukup bermakna especially untuk Par dan LB, sampaikan Par sepanjang malam tu tidur duduk je agaknya sambil tangan sebelah mencandat. Aku? Aku dapat naikkan seekor lagi waktu rush hour tu, lepas tu bila aku tengok dah slow je, aku masuk kabin semula, tidur laa de.... ekekekek
Waktu nak masuk tidur tu, tekong tengah masak, bau macam masak kari. Tapi aku tidur jugaklah.
Aku masuk tidur balik ekekekek....
Around 4am macam tu, aku terjaga lagi (kali ni tak tahan nak kencing pulak). Aku tengok ramai pencandat dah tidur.
Pastu aku tengok LB macam merana je tidur-tidur ayam sambil tangan hayun-hayun candat. Aku ambik candat dari tangan dia pastu aku kata, bro tidur je lah... So, aku amik alih candat dia, dalam setengah jam lepas tu, rasa berat lagi, naik pulak dua ekor sotong serentak... ni nak panggil apa pulak? Bisex? Ekekeke...
Bertambah-tambah makan masing-masing malam tu, lupa kejap bab kolesterol hehehe... Nanti aku sambung lagi cerita, tak habis lagi nih...

144th to 150th: Cerita KT
Last week was all about anticipating the long weekend because of Wesak Day on Friday. Isnin hingga Khamis tu, macam biasa lah makan tido lari je kerja aku.
Then, air cond sejuk sangat. Ketiganya, ada satu grup (dalam 6 orang) orang-orang dewasa or agak tua yang naik di Singapura yang boleh bersembang kuat-kuat dan gelak-gelak dalam bas tu pulak time orang lain nak tidur.
Asal bas berhenti untuk supper, buang air je, diorang bising-bising turun bas, pastu bila naik bas balik, bising-bising dalam 30minit pastu tidur. Ada laa 3 kali bas berhenti. Pastu around 4.30am, bila one of them terjaga, dia buat bising and the rest followed. Bila bas berhenti solat Subuh, takde pulak nak bising-bising? Memang aku pissed off dengan grup tu. Dan waktu kat stesen bas KT, nak balik ke JB, aku nampak grup tu lagi. Nasib baik diorang tak naik bas sekali dengan aku. Lega!
Anyway, aku tiba di KT around 7.30am kot?! Aku nampak Par dan Aishah yang dah sampai dari KL lagi awal, maybe 6am or so. Tak lama lepas tu, hos kitorang kat sana, si PO pun sampai untuk fetch kitorang. Breakfast - cadangnya nak makan nasi dagang tapi kedai tu tak masak nasi dagang pulak hari tu, hari cuti kot.
First destination, PO bawak kitorang ke one of the famous landmarks kat Terengganu....
Menurut PO, lagi ramai orang amik gambar stadium ni bila dah runtuh daripada sebelum runtuh. Hehehe. Sementara tunggu kunci homestay, kitorang pusing-pusing dulu. Around 10am, checked in kat homestay tu, a double-storey link house, 4 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, just opposite KT airport. Sangat ok homestay tu, all rooms are air-conditioned, boleh masak kalau nak, washing machine ada siap detergent, astro basic channels pun ada.
After Friday prayer, kabas yang bermalam di Kuantan tiba - Angah, Wan, Arc, LB, Delinn, Sempoii. We headed for lunch, makan nasi dan sup ala Kelantan. Murah sajork to our surprise! Kitorang budgeted RM270 untuk makan berkeluarga 9 orang sepanjang trip ni, dan.... tak habis pun RM270 tu. Cayorklah KT!
Heheheh...
Cerita bab mencandat pulak... hmmm... nantilah aku sambung pulak, dah panjang ni.

POW: Murtabak Singapura
Di JB, murtabak yang famous, a.k.a.
Dapppp wooooo!!!
So, tengok je lah gambar ni, aku tak reti nak tulis panjang-panjang pasal Murtabak Singapura ni.
While korang salivating, drooling bila tengok gambar murtabak tu, aku tengah dapppp makan nasi dagang, kerpok lekor... hmmmm.....

Sweet 17. Oh! I like!!
Semalam aku buat body measurement/reading kat Club. The last time aku buat benda ni was in October 2009, some 7 months ago. Untuk pengetahuan korang, 7 bulan lepas memang aku dapat rasakan sendiri yang aku ni out of shape, gemok (dah le kurang tinggi kan?), it was bad! Really bad... dan waktu tu aku ada jugak lari-lari ni tapi tak serius sangat. Aku ingat lagi waktu tu, nak lari 5km under 45 minutes on treadmill pun macam nak mati. Tapi sekarang tidak lagi, 5km tu 25 minit je aku lari kat treadmill. Heheheh....
Anyway, the readings yesterday shows that I am ok and fit, overall except my bone mass which is quite low. The solution - I need to pump more iron (or lift weights lah) which I hate! Some notable comparisons from yesterday's reading and last October's readings:
Weight: 55.6kg (was 63.5kg)
BMI: 21.7 (was 25.6 - obese level 1)
Metabolic age: Schweeet 17! Fewwitttt!!! (was 28)
Visceral fat: 3 (was 10)
Body fat: 12.3% (was 23%)
Perghhh... paling best tu, metabolic age aku baru 17 beb!!! Baru nak amik SPM tu... hahahah... aku pun tak tau lah, if I train harder, will the metabolic age goes down to 15? 13? or 9? Siap aku buat lawak kat office, aku cakap sekali lagi tujuh bulan aku buat measurement, time analyze metabolic age tu, trainer aku cakap, "you're not born yet!" Hahahaha...
Cuba korang tengok gambar aku dulu dan sekarang ni. Dulu = November 2009, Sekarang = May 2010.
Ohh dan cholesterol level aku was 8.6 in January 2010 and 3.5 in February 2010 ya! Sekarang, tak tau sebab belum check, hujung bulan Jun 2010 baru check semula, hopefully it stays low.
Ekekekek...

Panini World Cup Sticker Album - 260510
As I mentioned before, I vouched to get my Panini World Cup 2010 Sticker Album completed this time - a feat I've never achieved before. With the album bought on Sunday and 5 free stickers to start with, I went to the MyNews in Plaza Angsana on Monday to buy the stickers in bulk.
I asked the person there about the discount offered by Panini if you buy in bulk but he has no clue at all and had to make a call to confirm about the discount voucher I showed to him. I wanted to buy 100 packs (equivalent to 500 stickers) but they don't have enough. He asked me to come back on Wednesday when the new stock arrived. In the end I just requested for 50 packs (or 250 stickers) and that's RM85 after deducting RM10 discount.
That night I went all out to paste the stickers but only managed to get 25 packs done, cramped all my legs as I was doing in while sitting on the floor. Continued last night with another 15 packs and the completion rate for the album now stands at 29.7% (189/637 stickers) with 16 stickers found duplicate and ready to trade.
Here are snapshots of my two most completed pages :-)
And here's the list of stickers anybody want to trade with or buy from me (leave your comment and email in the comments box, but only restricted for residents in Malaysia and Singapore)
Sticker no: Details
14: Mangaung/Bloemfontein Stadium
99: Florent Malouda
117: Maxi Rodriguez
137: Kalu Uche
231: Khaled Lemmouchia
241: Samir Handanovic
266: Arne Friedrich
269: Thomas Hitzlsperger
331: Asamoah Gyan
340: Andre Ooijer
381: Yuki Abe
422: Andrea Pirlo
427: Alberto Gilardino
430: Paraguay Emblem
575: Jesus Navas
633: Fabian Orellama
Ideally, to complete all 637 stickers, one needs to buy 128 packs (RM243.20) but of course as the completion rate gets higher, you'll get more duplicate stickers and the list above will grow longer (like Rooney's beard in Nike World Cup tv ad). Fret not, today am going to buy another 50 or if the store has enough stock, I'll buy 100 packs of stickers that will keep me occupied this long weekend or err... the whole next week? :-)
Another thing, if you want to do this virtually, you can do it at http://www.fifa.com/stickeralbum

The Joe's story - 230510
Okeh nak update sikit. Around 9.20pm, time aku tengah sedap-sedap layan Shaq dan Mas Idayu dalam Mentor 4 sidai kain kat luar rumah, ada unknown number masuk, dua kali. Dua-dua kali tu aku tak sedar/tak perasan ebab handphone aku kat bilik atas. Aku syak Joe yang call. Dua kali pulak tu!
Terus aku jadi macam blur je. Aku terbayang yang kalau korang, peminat-peminat Joe, tahu aku tak jawab call dia, sure korang marah dengan aku. Tension aku jadinya. Ye lah selama ni ke hulu ke hilir aku usung handphone aku around 9pm onwards. Time aku tak usung tu pulak yang Joe called. Ye lah, aku sidai kain, pakai kain, tak boleh nak selit handphone kat mana-mana.
Anyway, after sort of praying that he calls back, dan aku alerted delinn suruh on standby mode kot-kot Joe call dia pulak. Then, aku dapat YM message dari delinn suruh aku standby, sebab Joe nak call aku. Obviously, lepas aku tak jawab call dia tadi, dia called delinn pulak.
Then, he called...
The court hearing on 20th May went on, although just for 5 minutes. Judge tu memang dah assigned for that particular detention center. Joe was represented by a lawyer. He was given sort of statement yang suruh mengaku bersalah. Ini memang standard procedure, sebab kalau tak mengaku bersalah, maksudnya kau nak claim trial pulak kan.
After sort of pleaded guilty macam tu, the verdict is that he will be detained between 0 to 6 months, including yang dah sebulan dia dah kat situ. So, kalau campur dia dah sebulan kat situ, max he will be detained for another 5 months. But, the lawyer will file I'm not sure whether it's the appeal or documentations for deportation ke apa to the judge again, which will take place 2 months from the last court hearing, so 20th July 2010 is the next hearing.
To give you all clearer and simpler understanding, Joe will still be at the detention center until at least 20th July 2010. Daripada 20th July punya hearing tu, if everything goes well, the deportation process akan ambik masa max sebulan pulak. Dia kata tak sure tapi kalau boleh dia nak remains in Buffalo.
Joe ada jugak cakap dia harap dia tak kena spend bulan Ramadhan kat sana, aku tak tanya kenapa. Tapi nampak gayanya, macam kena spend seseminggu dua at least. Takpelah, itu semua perancangan manusia, kita berdoalah agar rahmat bulan Ramadhan tu nanti, Joe dapat berpuasa kat sini, ye?
Apart from the court hearing nya story, suara Joe macam selsema sikit, sob sob bunyinya. Aku tanya selsema ke? Dia kata tak, cuma waktu dia called delinn sebelum tu, dia tersedih. Dia kata hari tu dia timbang, turun 2kg :-( pastu dia tak timbang dah.
Pastu, dia kata dia dah botakkan kepala. Hehehe... dia kata senang sikit sebab barber datang situ sebulan sekali. Korang tau laa rambut Joe tu bila panjang sikit, nanti jadi afro pulak.
Pastu Joe cerita lagi, makin dia pakai ketayap, makin nakal jadinya. Aku tanya lah nakal macam mana? Dia kata macam waktu main chess dengan other inmates, gelak berdekah-dekah. Pastu bila ada new detainee baru masuk, dia lah yang jadi 'ketua sorak'. Adehhh... at least we know, he's ok in there, tapi dia pun sedar laa yang 'teruk'nya perangai dia tu.
And then dia cakaplah some detainees kat situ dah lama kena tahan, so perangai dah macam gila-gila lah dan Joe pun cakap something like, dia risau nanti dia lama-lama kat situ dia tak tau nak buat apa of which aku cakaplah baca quran, khatam lah 3-4 kali. And he said, dah nak habis dah seround. Alhamdulillah.
Dan aku jugak dah sampaikan salam korang semua, in general, kat dia. Aku cakap, sejak nekrock link kan blog aku kat blog dia, menderu-deru traffic masuk blog aku to which he laughs. So, aku rasa he appreciates doa dan salam korang semua, ok.
Tu je. Kalau ada salah kata/penulisan aku, aku mintak maaf. Ye lah ramai sangat peminat Joe ni, takut aku jadinya nak mengarang ayat, nak kena jaga hati semua. :-)

137th to 143rd
Tak banyak cerita minggu ni since weekend aku kat JB je, spending my second last weekend here. Weekdays pun ceritanya, kerja macam tak kerja, makan, tidur, berlari. Tu je. Cuma ada few things happened that worth mentioning laa (yang aku rasa laaa) ekekekeke....
I did two firsts in my life last week!
First, aku registered untuk my first oversea run! tapi takde lah jauh mana pun, kat Singapore je this December. Mulanya aku pun takde lah rasa oversea sangat larian aku nanti tapi waktu aku nak register tu, dia mintak no. passport, selalunya kita bagi nombor KP je. Waktu tu barulah terasa ke'oversea'annya larian aku tu nanti. Tarikhnya 5 Disember, aku registered for Half Marathon (21km) category. Start point will be in Sentosa dan tamat di Padang/Esplanade. Kalau korang nak join aku, boleh check it out kat sini
Then, aku target either Bali or Pattaya. Kalau nak best, maybe Gold Coast. Lagi nak best, dream run aku, of course lah London atau Boston Marathon.
Aku tak sure apa benda yang menyebabkan aku tak derma darah sebelum ni tapi aku rasa best gila derma darah ni. Tapi dengan syarat, diorang bius dulu laa dengan jarum kecik sebelum dia hisap darah dengan jarum bagak.
It took just a little over 5 minutes je nak dapat darah satu pint. Man! I never knew donating blood is so much fun and the rewards is so much. Hehehe...
Definitely it's not going to be my last time lah tapi dengan syarat di atas tadi tu. Bius dengan jarum kecik, baru masuk jarum bagak!
Another thing I want to share, tadi lepas lunch aku beli Panini's Official World Cup Sticker Album. Kalau korang kecik-kecik dulu pernah main menatang Panini ni sure korang tau, especially to boys laa. Beli album dia kacang je, tapi nak beli sticker tu yang masalahnya. Pastu bila beli sticker pack (5 pieces to a pack), dapat sticker yang sama pulak, dah nak kena cari kawan-kawan nak trade.
Huhuhu...
Hehehe...
So kalau ada anak-anak, adik-adik, anak-anak sedara korang yang nak trade stickers dengan aku, cakap ye... nanti aku publishkan list of stickers wanted or to-trade.
Ok, bye!

POW: Roti kacang pool
Kalau ke JB, tak sah rasanya kalau tak merasa makan roti kacang pool. Namanya mungkin pelik tapi it's a local-version of beef chilis, pada aku.
Enjoys, ok!

130th to 136th: Cerita Thomas Cup
Cerita pasal Thomas Cup pulak.
So, this year, Thomas Cup buat kat Malaysia. The last time it was held here, I was still working with the Blue Car Co., so dapatlah masuk free as we were the main sponsor. Tapi waktu tu Malaysia fared miserably, failing to qualify to the semi kot, or didn't we go through to second round at all? Can't remember.
As you all know, we won uncontested against the non-showing Nigerians, lost to Japan and won the Q-final tie against Denmark on the decider to meet up China in the Semi Final. Pagi Jumaat tu tengah breakfast kat area near the office, aku tersms Des tanya whether he'll be in the stadium later. He said yes and asked my whereabout. I said, I'm in JB tapi kalau sampai the stadium before 7pm, boleh masuk tak? Dia kata dia boleh adjust.
Teruuusssssssss aku set mind to leave office earlier, in order to arrive in Bukit Jalil by 7pm to watch the Mas-Chn match live from the venue. At 1pm, aku gerak ke Bukit Jalil from JB. Aku dah tak peduli kalau bos aku cari ke CEO aku cari ke, aku akan cakap je aku nak gi tengok badminton, I'm doing a NATIONAL SERVICE. Kalau diorang nak sack aku, go ahead. Aku boleh leave earlier and join Emerald earlier. Hehehehe...
Anyway, arrived Bukit Jalil around 5.30pm. Had to wait for Des to do some office stuff kat tempat lain. So, aku pun tinjau laa keadaan di luar stadium. Not long after that, Indonesia just qualified to the final, beating Japan. So, macam dalam stadium jugak lah.
Then, ada lah tv Indonesia interview wak/mas/bung ni lepas game tu, kira die-hard fan Indonesia lah.
Yang aku sakit hati je, mamat ni cakap lebih kurang macam ni, "berdasarkan permainan tadi, saya rasa yakin Indonesia mampu menewaskan China di perlawanan akhir." Damn! They're expecting China to beat Malaysia in the semi. Aduussss... support lah sikit team se'rumpun' kan? Ekekeke... Ni pulak penyokong-penyokong Malaysia sebelum masuk ke stadium nyanyi lagu semangat...
Just before the Lin Dan-Chong Wei match started, Des came and pass me the complimentary ticket. I've to be alone as he has to be somewhere else at the stadium. Kira macam kalau korang tengok team LA Lakers main game NBA, seat aku tu macam seat Samuel L. Jackson duduk laa... ekekekeke. Syok siot memang depan-depan mata je.
Sebaris dengan aku, ni haa... die hard fan team Malaysia pulak, yang drapped with Jalur Gemilang tu. On the right of the pic, yang bajur jalur-jalur tu officials team Indonesia, scouting the match. Sebelah diorang (takde dalam gambar, tempat team China and Malaysia).
Dan seperti yang korang tau, Malaysia kalah dengan China 0-3, all in straight sets. Tak puas aku duduk seat Samuel L. Jackson tu tau. Ni aku sempat record Lin Dan's winning point and his breakdance afterwards, that broke many Malaysian hearts.
Tapi sempat jugak aku bergambar dari seat aku right after the match dengan tanpa perasaan sedih pun. Huhuhu...
Since ada tiket free for the final, aku rasa takpelah pergi tengok jugak walaupun Indonesia-China yang main final tu. Dan aku kena babysit si Kembar Kecoh tu pulak, diorang nak merasa tengok Thomas Cup. Too bad lah Malaysia tak qualify kan, so diorang sokong China dan aku sokong Indonesia...
In the end, China menang 3-0. Aku takde amik gambar sangat sebab masih keletihan dari larian pagi tu, mata pun kuyu je...
Malaysia pulak, kena tunggu lagi dua tahun lah nak cuba rampas semula Piala Thomas, mungkin kena tunggu genap 20 tahun baru dapat semula kan? Tadi everytime Chong Wei nampak kat stadium je, orang jerit-jerit nama dia, waktu prize giving pun penyokong masih beri sokongan pada Chong Wei. That's the spirit.
Sekian sahaja laporan Piala Thomas 2010 bukan bersama Hasbullah Awang. Ekekekeke...

130th to 136th: Macam-macam (part dua)
On Thomas Cup:
Ni aku cerita dalam separate entry lah, later. Panjang ceritanya...
On my race:
Weekend lepas aku balik Shah Alam pun sebab aku ada New Balance Pacesetters 15km race kat Padang Merbok. Power seh laluannya berbukit, 'triple hill' kata orang.
Dari Padang Merbuk, ikut belakang, keluar ke main road ikut Tugu Negara then menuju ke Bank Negara, lalu bukit belakang BNM tu, then tah macam mana, lalu depan Kementerian Pertanian, buat u-turn, masuk Bukit Tunku, then pusing gila bab nye siap mendaki bukit paling curam kat Tinggian Tunku, then lalu semula depan Kementerian Pertanian, sebelum masuk ke Jalan Parlimen dan straight menuju finishing line kat Padang Merbuk. Cerita selanjutnya pasal larian ni, korang bacalah kat Deo On the Run
On nice lunch on Saturday:
Lepas balik dari collect race kit on Saturday tu, aku terfikir-fikir kat mana nak makan tengahari. I don't want nasi kandar or nasi daun pisang this time. Mak Jah pulak, I'll save it for Sunday. Then, bila dah dekat-dekat nak lalu Menara TM tu, aku teringat kedai Kelantan kat Kg Pantai Dalam. Kedai yang dulunya dok pasang lagu-lagu dikir barat je. Baru aku tau namanya Anis Putri (tau pun sebab nak checkin kat foursquare hehehe...)
Dah berubah rupa kedai tu sejak last aku makan setahun setengah lepas. Makin cantik. Tetapi lauk tetap mantop! Banyaaaaakkknyaaaaaaa pilihan macam dulu juga. Ulam-ulamannya je pun dah penuh satu food counter, tengok gambar ni....
Cuma waktu aku sampai tu, belum jam 12pm lagi so gulai kawah daging aku belum siap. So, aku settled with gulai kawah itik je. Dan seperti biasa kalau makan kat situ, mana cukup satu lauk, so aku amik crispy fried talapia sekali selain ulam-ulaman. Hehehe... ni lah hasilnya...
On baju kawin dan baju batik:
Lepas lunch on Saturday tu, aku gerak lah ke Kompleks PKNS nak collect baju melayu yang aku tempah untuk dipakai waktu majlis persandingan adik aku next month dengan baju batik kain crepe yang aku beli kat KB dulu. Waktu diorang bawak keluar je baju batik aku tu, aku dah spotted something no right.
The cuff, which aku mintak diorang buat 3 inci lebar dan ada dua butang atas bawah, tapi diorang buat macam cuff baju batik biasa. Macam sial! aku try jugak dan it fits me well, cutting ok semua. Cuma cuff je yang problem. And I just didn't get it. Memang dah tertulis dalam buku tu, specs yang aku mintak tapis still jahit salah. Dalam menahan geram, aku tanyalah what can they do?
F*ck lah!
Pastu brader sorang lagi cakap, takpe nanti dia gi sendiri kat production, check kain lebih. Kalau ada, dia buat cuff baru. Kalau takde, dia akan cari kain lain untuk buat cuff baru, to which aku demanded aku nak kain batik crepe, not a regular cheap batik.
Pastu it's not an ordinary kain yang boleh pergi balik Nagoya beli lagi semeter. Even kalau beli kat Nagoya pun, belum tentu ada if you go for the second time. Diorang senang-senang je buat silap macam tu. Sial sungguh lah businesses in Malaysia ni!
Anyway, petang Ahad tu diorang called aku kata ada kain lebih so diorang akan alter cuff baju batik tu, which will take something like 2-3 days. Hmmm... ok lah tu tapi tak sure lah whether I'll go back to the shop or not. Maybe I shall forgive, but not forget lah for this one small mishap.
Ahad malam, aku still in Shah Alam. Gerak balik JB pagi Isnin. Kan Smokey Grey dah keluarkan circular yang orang-orang traveling JB-KL ni boleh masuk jam 11 pagi on Monday. So, belasah je lah kan. Walaupun aku tak balik KL misalnya, aku akan tetap claim aku balik so that aku boleh masuk jam 11am. Fair kan? Heheheh...
Ok, itu je lah cerita seweek aku.

130th to 136th: Macam-macam (part satu)
On Joe:
First of all thanks to all Joe's fans who visited this blog. Aku perasan, lepas nekrock letak link to this blog at Joe's blog, memang ramai gila visitors masuk. Apa yang aku buat is just a very little thing to keep all of you updated. But I haven't received anymore calls from him after the first two. Kalau ada dia call, nanti aku akan update, for sure. Dan next time dia call, aku kena bawak buku nota lah, nak kena catit sebijik-sebijik apa yang Joe cakap, kalau dak aku terlupa nanti. Hehehe...
To all friends who wish him well dan kirim salam, aku akan sampaikan Insyaallah. Tapi aku akan sampaikan in general je lah, takde lah specific this person, that person, panjaaaaanggggg wo senarai, macam terima Academy Awards, nak kena mention everyone.
On time spent in office while serving my resignation notice period:
Kalau korang tak tau lagi, last working day aku dengan Smokey Grey Co. kat JB ni will be 28th June. Lama lagi tu dalam sebulan setengah. Dan about two weeks ago, Smokey Grey siap dah keluarkan circular, listing down names who've tendered resignation. Aku rasa macam tercalar sangat hati aku. Ye laa... selalunya companies buat announcement when you've gone. But, who cares, kan?! Ekekeke lantak laaa...
As usual, datang kerja setakat nak clock in dan clock out je. Tu pun tahpahapa time clock in clock out nye, jam 10.30am pun ada, 4.30 pm pun ada. Tapi, aku sejak kebelakangan ni lorat sikit dengan 'Grandpa' especially after hearing somebody told me that 'Grandpa' pernah cakap that my department is underwork. Aku rasa because he couldn't see much output, like reports, etc, from our department.
Mana taknya, dia CFO je. Walaupun dia division head kitorang, most of our papers, reports, sometimes go directly to the CEO terus. Macam kerja yang aku buat ni memang takde refer to him pun, meetings pun tak involve dia. Pastu, aku malas lah nak lunch dengan 'Grandpa' sebab dia ni cheapskate, belanja tempat murah-murah, cikai-cikai je. So, last Wednesday, aku amik MC, because of 'Grandpa', tapi peha aku pun nak tercabut hari tu after 19km run that morning.
On Emerald:
They've noted about it and told me that they'll issue a confirmation letter on the reporting date. Masalahnya dah dua minggu surat tu tak dikeluarkan lagi. Dan aku pun mula lah fikir macam-macam, nervous satu hal. Things like what if they can't wait for me that long, so they decided not to hire me.
Panic seh! Dah le aku dah tender resignation, pastu tak buat kerja apa-apa dah, bos pun dah tak bagi kerja apa-apa lagi. Kalau Emerald tak nak amik aku, takkanlah aku nak begging Smokey Grey Co. to amik aku semula. Kalau aku beg pun, diorang nak ke amik aku? Ekekekek...
So, on Thursday, aku email the PIC at the Emerald, asking her the situation but no reply. And on Friday almost noon, aku called her. Punyalah berdegup kencang jantung aku, tak tau lah kenapa. Aku tanya lah dia about the status of the letter. Pastu aku cakap lah aku 'ter'worried in case Emerald decided not to employ aku.
Dia kata kenapa aku risau macam tu? The employment is confirmed, cuma surat reporting date je tak keluar lagi. Terms of employment, offer, etc remains the same as the offer letter issued at the end of last January. Dia kata don't worry, my reporting date is 1st July. Just wait for the letter. And she followed that up with an email. Fuuuhhhh lega....
Part dua esok lah pulak, ye...

POW: Nasi Ambang Mat Corner
Protong spongsor Protong! Kroni banyak situ! Hebak Protong!!! Hehehe...
So, POW minggu ni menampilkan... the famous nasi ambang di Johor Bahru... lokasinya ialah di Bandar Baru UDA, dekat ada satu Medan Selera (ataupun di Johor ni orang panggil Kebayan), berdekatan dengan Pejabat Pos Mini Bandar Baru UDA. Kalau korang nak cari nasi ambang ni pastu sesat, pastu segan nak tanya orang kat mana nasi ambang Mat Corner, korang tanya je lah kat mana Pejabat Pos Mini Bandar Baru UDA. Then, korang sure akan tersampai kat Mat Corner ni.
Ni gambar kedainya. Kalau lunch time proper, memang penuh dan panjang beraturnya.
Harganya, RM5 sajork.
Itu saja buat kali ni. Jumpa lagi minggu depan. Ole ole ole ole... Malaysia!! Ole.....

FIFA's World Cup House Rules
For the past one week and the next 2 months, my favorite channel have been and will be Astro's 804. I do not care who won or will win the by-elections, I do not give a damn who will win AI and fuck the hell with AF8, I just don't care! All I care is World Cup 2010 South Africa and little bit about Malaysia winning the Thomas Cup, and I still watch a little bit of Kardashian series and KLS's too! Hehehehe...
As I'll be a die-hard Henry's and France's fan for the World Cup... ahhh... let's save my prediction for the World Cup later.
Saw this article on the World Cup House Rules - applicable to those who're not really into it and those who'll asking people questions like "Siapa menang semalam ha?" or uttering statements like "Eeeeee... Drogba tu hensem laaa..." or "Alaaa... sedih lah I pasukan Italy kalah. Tu pasukan favorite I tu sejak dia menang World Cup 2006." Nak termuntah aku dengar statement-statement macam tu. Baik korang duduk diam-diam, lagi elok!
So, here are the House Rules:
Dear Wife / Sweetheart / Girl Friend / Partner / whomever it may concern,
1. Between 11 June and 11 July 2010, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding the World of Soccer, and that you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a bad way, or you will be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.
2. During the World Cup, the television is mine, at all times, without any exceptions. If you even take a glimpse of the remote control, you will lose it (your eye).
3. If you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game, I don't mind, as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me.
4. During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute, unless I require a refill of my drink or something to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me to listen to you, open the door, answer the telephone, or pick up the baby that just fell on the floor....It won't happen.
5. It would be a good idea for you to keep at least 2 six packs in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on (excluding your body parts), and please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV between 12am and 6am, unless they replay a good game that I missed during that day.
6. Please, please, please!! If you see me upset because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT say "get over it, it's only a game", or "don't worry, they'll win next time". If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called "words of encouragement" will only lead to break up or divorce.
7. You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during halftime but only when the commercials are on, and only if the half time scores is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying "one" game; hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to "spend time together".
8. The replays of the goals are very important. I don't care if I have seen them or I haven't seen them, I want to see them again, many times.
9. Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or any other child related parties or gatherings that requires my attendance because:
a) I will not go,
b) I will not go, and
c) I will not go.
10. But, if a friend of mine invites us to his house on a Sunday to watch a game, we will be there in a flash.
11. The daily World Cup highlights show on TV every night is just as important as the games themselves. Do not even think about saying "but you have already seen this...why don't you change the channel to something we can all watch?" because, the reply will be, "Refer to Rule #2 of this list".
12. And finally, please save your expressions such as "Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years". I am immune to these words, because before and after this comes the Champions League, Premier League, Italian League, Spanish League, KPL, FA Cup, Euro Cup, etc.
P/S
By the way if you get stuck on the road call the Police or AAM.
Thank you for your coorperation.
So, paham ke tak? Kalau tak paham, just keep quiet and "Drogba is not handsome or cute, ok?!"

The Joe's story - 100510
Had a longer chat with Joe. He called around 9.45pm. He told me bout his daily activities at the detention center. Nothing I heard was hard, he said macam dalam movies lah. Hehehe.
Aku dah sampaikan well wishes semua orang kat dia telling him our concerns and that everyone is praying for him.
Now, he's waiting for the court hearing on 20th May. After that, most probably the process of deportation to Malaysia will take place. According to what he heard, he could be in Malaysia by July. So, kita sama-sama berdoalah agar takde apa complication dan Joe boleh deported as soon as possible.
Ceria je suara dia, gelak-gelak. He told me he called delinn earlier pastu makcik tu tanya tak sedih ke. Joe cakap, kalau nak ikut sedih, memang lah. Hari-hari dia nangis. And I told him it's true but crying won't take him anywhere. We also agreed that when he was detained, walaupun bukan dalam keadaan yang terbaik, it was fated that way, that he's coming back in such way.
Aku cakap jugak, kalau nak tunggu dia fully prepared to come home, entah bila agaknya, which he agrees. Dan daripada yang aku dengar, he's mentally prepared this time to come home. Again, let's pray for the process to be as smooth as it can.
Apa lagi ek? Oh... aku tanya was it hard for him there? Dia kata it's a new experience for him. And he's documenting everything which he hope to blog about it later. The worst part, according to him, was when he was first detained, siap kena gari kaki dan tangan tu. I bet it was damn hard even if it happened in front of us pun sure boleh drop to tears.
So, itu je lah update for now. Let's pray hard for him, for his safety and his safe return to Malaysia.

123th to 129th: Boring week
The week is as boring and as dull as the city I spent the week in. Mana lagi kalau bukan JB yang membosankan. Nothing interesting happened, hari-hari pergi balik kerja, dua hari pergi balik gym, pergi balik Jusco Taman Universiti, lari kat kawasan rumah macam orang nak gila. Good thing about takde benda yang happening ni is that aku boleh concentrate dengan training aku for next week's 15km dan June's 21km. Last week aku dapat buat total 50+km, baca kat sini kalau nak tau citer lanjut.
Itu pun boss aku kata, I can stay for another day in KL. Tapi disebabkan Selasa tu aku ada meeting lain di JB dan aku dah pack barang-barang aku like phone chargers, etc., so aku malas lah nak stay for another night in Shah Alam, nak unpacak then repack balik semua tu kan. It didn't mean aku looking forward nak balik JB but it's just that aku tak kuasa nak re-do things in Shah Alam.
The rest of the week takde apa berlaku. Pergi kerja pun setakat nak clock in and clock out, setakat tunjuk muka kat bos je. Sampai aku tak tahu dah nak buat apa kat ofis. On Thursday ke macam tu, member aku message, she couldn't accompany me to the dinner show with Jamal on Saturday. Atuk dia passed away last weekend dan ada kenduri tahlil. Obviously lah kan, takkan nak pergi entertainment show in place of tahlil kan?
Being aku, yang malas nak cari replacement ni, aku terfikir jugak lah biar aku pergi sorang je malam tu. Satu tiket lagi tu, member aku kata she doesn't mind to 'burn' it tapi sayang je lah sebab tak pakai. And she was trying to find someone to replace her. Tapi ye lah kan, takkan lah senang-senang nak temankan aku, bukannya semua orang kenal aku and most importantly 'understand' me, kan?
So, on Friday noon, I decided to let go my ticket too. Sebab lebih senang nak cari a couple to replace than someone to accompany aku. The two tickets that worth RM400 tu I gave away for RM100 je, tu pun more as a commitment fee sebab tau lah manusia ni, bila bagi tiket free, kalau ada problem sikit macam hari hujan pun dah boleh bagi alasan tak pergi.
Aku dengar the show was a blitz. Hmmm... takpe lah aku tak rasa ralat sangat pun sebab aku takde lah tergila-gila nak tengok show Jamal ni. Oh ye, just heard from the little bird that Double Trouble will be held in JB on 5th June 2010. Too bad, I'll be in Penang that weekend, so aku tak boleh nak repeat dan takde lah ralat sangat sebab aku dah gi yang kat KL hari tu. Mintak-mintak hujan laaa selebat-lebatnya ataupun concert postponed. Ekekekeke....
Itu je lah cerita aku last week. Tak best kan?
----------
To geng #rebanamaya, probably you've heard what happened to Joe, kan? from nekrock's update in Dendam Perantau. This morning, around 7.30am I was awakened by a call from US and guess what? It was Joe who called from the detention center in Buffalo. He sounded ok, ceria as usual, macam waktu-waktu lain dia call kita lah.
Cuma bila aku cakap glad that he's ok. Dia cakap, "Ok kau kata?" and I could not explain what I meant by "Ok" and I could sense some worriness in his voice especially to what will happen on 20th May and upon his arrival in Malaysia nanti. Banyak benda aku nak tanya tapi tak tertanya, contoh "Do you eat well?", "Do you sleep well?" <-- macam mak-mak pulak tanya, no thanks to the Dear John book yang aku baru habis baca, yang quite bosan dan terlebih jiwang laa.. ehh melalut lak.
Tak tertanya or tak sempat nak tanya since he was also rushing to tell me everything that had happened and what did nekrock write in his blog. Tapi Joe being Joe kan, that put smile on my face, dia tanya, "apsal suara kau lain ha? aku ingat siapa tadi..." aku cakap lah, "aku baru bangun (tido) je ni..." dan dia boleh cakap something like, "patutlah suara kampung habis..." Siot je!
In the end, he said he will call again (I hope he will) dan lepas tu dia kata, "ehh.. ok lah nanti aku call lagi. Aku nak kena gi jadi imam ni..." hehehehe... So, to some extent we know lah how's he doing there. Anyway, dia kirim salam kat geng-geng kita.

POW: Salahuddin Bakery
This ain't a normal bakery shop yang korang biasa jumpa kat shopping malls like lavender ke le bohemia ke scisson or whatever lah kan. Tapi ni memang traditional bakery shop which I'm not sure when it was first opened tapi looking at the shop, I can say it is older than me (just assume umur aku 25 gitu. ekekekek). You can find various types of breads in this shop, aku suka karipap bakar lah yang tiga segi tu. Dapppp....
The location in along the famous (I don't exactly know for what) Jalan Dhoby, just opposite the I.T Roo Cafe (yang famous dengan chicken chop tu). So, after having your chicken chop meal at I.T Roo Cafe, why not hop to Salahuddin Bakery to tapau macam-macam variety of breads.

Konsert tarik nyawa
Terkejut aku bila Sempoii komen dalam entry bawah pasal ni. Dan bila aku baca Harian Metro, memang terkejut sehh, siap ada sorang mati lepas leher dia hampir putus. Kalau Konsert DT2 pun tragis sebab ramai yang pengsan, ini lagi lah tragis, bukan setakat tragis lagi, memang babis!
Bahaya dowh kalau pergi konsert ni, I can't believe they actually brought in like two sacks full of weapons - parang, kerambit, etc. Gila aaa... and to those yang terbabit dengan insiden ni, shame on you or better still FUCK YOU! Dan to authorities yang involved with the organization of this concert (aku rasa ni Konsert Ungu), please do something.
After all, setakat 6,000 je pun penonton yang datang tengok.
Better lah promote show artis tempatan. Tak kisahlah walaupun Sinar FM jadi official radio untuk Konsert DT2, apa salahnya Era FM promote sekali? Ini tidak, sikit pun takde mentioned. Boo!!! In the end, DT2 attracted 20,000 fans kat venue yang 20 kali lagi kecik daripada Std Bukit Jalil.
And to the fans, boikot je konsert dari seberang. Tak kira lah artis tu KaDe ke, Wa-liao Band ke Opeck ke sapa ke... BOIKOT!!!

116th to 122nd: Rockers + Pink = Double Trouble
Another week - nothing interesting except the just concluded weekend. Will save that for later.
Arrived from Ipoh around 6.30am on Monday morning, took a nap until 9.30am and arrived in office around 10.45am. Well, the new policy for traveling in Smokey Grey allows us to arrive in JB by 11am on Monday morning. Cool huh? Yeah cool and spells disaster for the company. Hmm like I give shit!
As usual, ran quite a lot considering I just finished a race on Sunday. Still feel bit of strain on my foot. But I have to run since I ate quiet unhealthily last week with mee kari, briyani kambing, maggi goreng at night. Hmmm... and guess what, I've registered for a 25km run in September, about two weekends after raya.
It sounds scary to me since I will only run 21km in June and it is two weeks after raya! and ramadhan month before that which I don't think I'll run much or probably no run for me at all. Reading the qualifying time of 3hr and 30mins just made me more nervous, can I run for 3.5hrs non stop? There's also 12km category but thinking that by September, 12km would be piece of cake to me, I opted for a longer distance. Anyway, I'll take that as a challenge!
Friday - public holiday, being replacement to Agong's birthday on Saturday. Did lots of routine chores and activities - dental checkup, get the baju melayu and batik for my brother's wedding tailored, went to see my cobbler to get my shoe buckles replaced, bla bla bla...
Early in the week, I also realized that I'll only have two weekends to spare in JB although my last day working in JB would be on the 28th June. In the next two months, I'd be spending my weekends in KL (3 weekends, 2 for races), 1 weekend each in Ipoh and Penang (for my brother's wedding) and 1 in Terengganu. So, not much time left to enjoy JB. And I had to start loading my stuff in JB to bring back to Shah Alam for good. :-)
Talking about leaving JB, it was quite saddening as somebody would be leaving JB earlier than me. Mamux is going back to Indo. It was supposed to be in July but something happened back home, the mother isn't well, so it has to come earlier. Too bad! I hope I get to see Mamux if I visit East Java next time.
Saturday morning, geng rebanamaya organized a get together yet again but we did it different style this time. It was a breakfast picnic, we called it PINKNIK as the theme is pink. If you happened to be in the Lake Garden on Saturday morning and saw a bunch of noisy (not nosy) people wearing pink having breakfast by the lake, that's us. Had fun, as usual with geng rebanamaya, but no pictures uploaded yet by the two rebanamaya's pro-photographers.
Oh ya, after the picnic, we were too lazy and too heavy to make our way to the car park (which involves climbing up like thousands of stairs!!), we decided to ride the train. Alaaa train yang bawak jalan pusing-pusing macam kat theme park, zoo negara tu. So, penuhlah satu train tu dengan geng rebanamaya je. When the train made a sharp turn, satu train menjerit. Macam budak-budak darjah 2 pergi melawat zoo negara, tak senonoh! Heheheh... But it was still fun per...
That night, it was the best event for the week. The Double Trouble: Wings Search concert. Went there with my two best buddies, Des and Zam, who as sporting as ever rocking all the way throughout the concert. Heard from the local newspapers that 20,000 people turned up that night. The venue was rather small and as it's a closed arena, it was really hot and we sweated everything including our underwear.
Some people couldn't stay long in the arena and it was crammed and hot and they made early exit. But me, Zam and Des stayed put, banging our head, rocking til the last song. Awie was superb, Amy was was tip top (waaaayyyyyyyy better than his show in Istana Budaya last month).
I saw no less than 7 people, all of them female, pengsan and had to be carried out from the arena. Ni yang aku malas nak bawak awek gi tengok konsert rock, tau. Some people said, the DT 1 was better but I had so much of fun and if they're going to perform in JB, I'll definitely make it a repeat, if it doesn't clash with my earlier planned activities.
Here's a photo of me with Zam. Cantek tak baju aku? Thought wanna wear John Lennon's t-shirt I bought earlier in JB, but while buying DT t-shirts for Zam and Des, I saw this Shiroi Neko's t-shirt and didn't have to decide longer to buy and wear it that night. Tapi haruslah aku tak pakai baju ni kat kampung kan, mau kena bakar dengan pak-mak aku kot. Hehehe...
This is a link to one of the videos I managed to capture. Lupa bawak balik kamera, so record pakai BlackBerry je. This is a medley of Gadisku and Taman Rashidah Utama. Quite classy laa sebab Awie nyanyi lagu Gadisku. Click here.
Ataupun entah-entah Konsert DT masuk dalam buku teks Sejarah 25 tahun lagi, I can proudly tell my cucu that "Atuk was there!" Ekekekek....
