Who's Acting?

One in Syria/Yaman and one in Saudi Arabia. So, who's the acting PM for the country?

I guess, it's too risky to name an Acting PM as he would be perceived as the next DPM (very soon, I guess) and probably by naming an Acting PM, it would create several quarters of people in the so-called Malay biggest party. And no one wants that to happen especially when the GE is around the corner.

Why we need either one of them in the country at any given time? One of so many reasons, according to Sang Kelembai:

Maybe they want Lim Kit Siang to feel how is it like to act as PM in the event if Samy Vellu or anyone dies.

And looks like Najib has planned his trip earlier but Lah still decided to go ahead to Syria, even when he knows that the DPM also will not be around in the country. Why Syria? Sang Kelembai said:

Who actually cares whether there's acting PM or not? I dont think there's so much really really important things to decide in this country. Even when he is around, the decisions made are all PALOI!

note: PALOI can be found in Bahasa Sarawak. It means BODOH. Do you understand?! If you understand, applause applause... like you applaused to his speech even when you couldn't understand what was he talking about!

I read The Reluctant Politican regarding the late Tun Dr Ismail. It is a scary though that we would be "headless",having both the PM and DPM out of the country if something bad happens.
But is there a written policy to say that both PM and DPM cannot be out of the country at the same time or that if they both go out of the country at the same time, one would have to be somewhere near (maybe under, say, four hours of flying time) home?
Also, with the advent of technology, there's also video conferencing and 3G video calls they can make use of, provided they or people around them are technology-savvy!
